Akara

Akara is made from brown beans which are blended into a smooth, thick paste, mixed with various herbs and spices and deep fried until golden brown. Makes for a good appetizer or pair with ogi for a full, nourishing meal. 
Akara may contain crayfish and shrimp, but a vegetarian option is also available.
